LIGHT/DARK SKIN NIGERIANS WHO CARES??

so basically i went on racialicious this blog and i saw this thing about Nigerian people and who we intermarry etc. and people's comments on what they thought about black people from West africa and how African American women are more desired than African women to African Men and all of these different opinions and I just recall my siblings and I growing up and I thought wow people really need to see everything before they start making stereotyes. My dad from Rivers State is light, and my mom also Rivers is dark. Her father is light , her mother is dark, my dads mother is light, his father is dark. Thus my dad is the only light on his side, and my mom is the only dark girl on her side with 3 light sisters, and 1 dark brother out of 9 children. And you know something no one every talks about skin color in our family I dont even think it was an issue it was the OUTSIDERS that are crazy. Im a mix of my parents so im a brown color, my younger brother is very yellow and has GOLd hair, the next sister is darker than me and the baby sister is Very light. So the youngest sister has my fathers soft hair its very mixed looking but anyway my mom had to deal with people saying " Oh is her father Puerto Rican or some nonsense even in Nigeria is it that her father is white ?!" But let me stay on track so I never realized anything until I went to public school and other people were like oh your AFRICAN ?! you dont look african........and then im like well whats an AFRICAN supposed to look like ?!!!!!!! or people say your not african no way...........or even you must have something in you I recall having the worst arguement with this girl CHICHI she was Nigerian herself so I thought she would of defended me. She said Onyinye you must have white somewhere, know I have already asked both of my parents who know their lineage very very well. I mean we have a huge family trea from both sides and its traces back to like the 1600's and his name is Odim...... and their is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO white blood.
Or my brothers hair, why is it so golden? how is that possible?? Well, will people realize that life started where?! AFRICA that means we will all look different.............and do NOT JUDGE us for that.

the word SELFLOVE is one word no two

i know so many understand that the world S.e.l.f. and love have to be intertwined their is no self without love and no love without self but its really hard to have self love ; i struggle with it everyday i can always find something wrong either i feel fat, or this or that and it does kind of get on my nerves but i know its not just me so many out their dont have selflove and i really want to get to the point were i do have selflove why ? I dont want to and I can't even see myself progressing in the right way if Im so concerned with my outer appearance. I want this summer to be positive, its always so depressing because I feel down about how much weight I have gained or this and that. I dont want to be so negative; I want to have that selflove so even when I dont look or feel as happy as I should; it really wouldn't be a problem.

WELL IM WRITING IN CAPS BECAUSE THATS HOW UPSET THIS MAKES ME:
SO IM WATCHING CNN AND ITS ABOUT THIS INDIAN MAN IN ATLANTA THAT HIRES A HITMAN TO KILL HIS SONS WIFE. NOT ONLY DID SHE DIE BUT SHE DIED IN FRONT OF HER DAUGHTER WHO WAS ONLY A COUPLE OF MONTHS OLD. AFTER THE FUNERAL, THE SON GAVE THE DAUGHTER TO HIS WIFES FAMILY AND MOVED ON. HE HASN'T SEEN HIS DAUGHTER SINCE THEN AND KNOW IS MARRIED TO AND INDIAN WOMAN.

THANK THE LORD THE MAN HAS BEEN GIVEN LIFE IN PRISON BUT ITS REALLY SAD TO SEE THIS. I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE WHO AREN'T FROM HERE THINK THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO LOOK DOWN ON BLACK AMERICANS?! EVEN SOME AFRICAN PEOPLE DO THAT AND ITS NOT RIGHT. ONE THING THAT I KNOW IS WHEN THE BLACK PEOPLE WERE MARCHING FOR THEIR RIGHTS IN AMERICA, I DONT RECALL ANY INDIAN PEOPLE , HISPANIC, AFRICAN, ASIAN, WHATEVER THEY MAY BE. I DONT RECALL THEM MARCHING WITH THE BLACK AMERICANS FOR THE SAME RIGHTS??!

SO NO MATTER HOW THEY MAY FEEL ABOUT THE WAY SOME BLACK AMERICANS ARE THEY DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO ACT LIKE THAT ITS JUST CRAZY.

FOR EXAMPLE, MY MOMS A NURSE AND SHE TOLD ME THIS LAST NIGHT. SHE DOES A HOMECASE FOR THIS INDIAN COUPLE AND THE WIFE HAS ALS, AND WHEN SHE GOT THEIR THE HUSBAND LEFT A NOTE " CLEAN THE BATHROOM" FOR MY MOM!

WDF!? MY MOMS NOT A SLAVE NOT ONLY DOES SHE HAVE A DEGREE IN NURSING BUT SHE'S NOT A CLEANER. OF COURSE MY MOM WENT CRAZY AND CALLED THE AGENCY AND WAS SCREAMING AT THEM BUT THIS JUST PUTS THE ENTIRE THOUGHT BACK INTO MY HEAD ABOUT HOW RACIST EOPLE CAN BE..
